Meet Reiko, our Vice President of Training and Recruiting. Reiko joined us as a senior at UCLA in 1982 when we opened our first restaurant in West Los Angeles, CA. Since the early days, our founder, Tony, instilled a culture of caring and the embodiment of Aloha Spirit which we define as “the spirit of genuinely and selflessly giving without any anticipation that something is coming back.” It’s this same culture that still exists today and the opportunity to continuously grow with our brand (while also raising 3 children) that has kept Reiko loyal to the Islands Ohana for over 35 years now.
